Make Your Marshmallow Snowman S’mores
1. To make the standing snowman, start with a full-size graham cracker. Cut two marshmallows in half. Place three halves on the graham cracker sticky-side down. Microwave until the marshmallows puff. (Watch very carefully. In our 1100-watt microwave, it took about 12-13 seconds.) Add broken pretzel sticks for arms. Chocolate chips make up the eyes and buttons, and I used a sliver of orange candy melt for the nose. Set aside to cool, if you can resist the gooey goodness:)
To make the snowman face, place remaining marshmallow half, cut side down on a graham cracker square. Microwave until the marshmallow puffs. I put these in slightly longer to get a nice round snowman face (maybe 14 seconds in our microwave). Add a piece of candy corn for the nose and a couple chocolate chips for the eyes.
Store in a single layer in a covered container. I’ve had success making them a day ahead if serving a crowd.
Enjoy those cold winter days eating s'mores, drinking hot chocolate, and making crafts with your little ones.
