Colorful Glitter Pine Cones
Materials:
- Glitter
- Glue
- Paint
- Pine cones
Instructions:
- Apply glue
- Use a brush to apply glue to the tips of the pine cones. (school glue diluted with water, Mod Podge, or Elmer's glue.
- Sprinkle glitter: While the glue is still wet, sprinkle glitter on the pine cones. You can use different colors of glitter to create different effects.
- Shake and dust: After a few minutes, shake off the excess glitter and dust the pine cones. Make sure to dump out any glitter that gets stuck inside the pine cone.
Artful Variations:
- You can also paint the pine cones before adding glitter. You can use acrylic paint and let the coats dry between each application.
- If you want to hang your glitter pine cones, you can attach floral wire to a string loop on the bottom of the pine cone and string beads onto the wire. Then, bend the wire at the top into a hook or circle.
